All you need to know about the Watford & District Hypnotherapy Centre?

Based in Watford the Centre started offering Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy. CBT & NLP in 2003 realising a life long desire to bring assistance and relief from the issues and challenges people face on a daily basis.
My interest in hypnosis dates back to my childhood where I watched a hypnotic show on the television and a spark was ignited deep with in me. This fascination grew and I was a frequent visitor to my local library, absorbing as much information as I could and then trying out the more stage type of hypnosis on friend’s family and even my school teachers...
On entering the world of work, as colleagues found out about my interest, I was approached increasingly with request for help on Smoking cessation, weight management, sleeping, anxiety etc..... I quickly found  I was able to offer assistance and deliver fascinating results. I was spurned to study further and formalise my qualifications (achieving Diplomas in Stress Management, Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy, NLP & subsequently the highly prestigious Hypnotherapy Practitioners Diploma and become a certificated Master Practitioner in NLP) , this threw open the world of N.L.P. (Neuro Linguistic Programming and CBT to me . I quickly identified and developed my own eyes open and eyes closed approach where a unison of conscious and sub-conscious therapies were far easier to deliver and far more appropriate, impactful and beneficial to the client.
This approach quickly resolved issues I had encountered where I found a client may have returned to smoking for example after stand alone hypnosis, in resolving the conscious issues and amplifying this work with the power of hypnotherapy I found " the magic formula" that I still implement today...

I was approached by the school I initially trained with in 2005 to start to offering training in the subject I held my qualifications, opening training schools in Cambridge University, central Milton Keynes, Central London and Swindon. Students attending benefited form the experiences my journey to-date had brought.  In many cases changing their career direction and setting themselves up offering full time therapy....many of the links offered link to students I have trained., and can highly recommend.

Realising the limitations of this training schools approach and taking this experience forward I teamed up with Robert Russell and Erika Keat in 2009 and together we opened our own training schools under the Training Alliance Group banner. in Milton Keynes, Brighton & London offering the market leading HPD level fully recognised GHR and NCH  accredited NLP, hypnosis, hypnotherapy and cognitive behavioural psychotherapy (CBP) training courses, enabling our students to further their interests, build a second income or in many cases open their own full time therapy practice.

My mission is to make hypnosis, NLP & CBT as user accessible, friendly and an enjoyable experience as possible. The word Hypnotherapist comes with a certain expectation, not always helpful, which I am striving to dispel the myths and demonstrate the truly amazing benefits Hypnosis, NLP and CBT bring.
More and more research is being carried out and delivering the empirical evidence lead case studies and proven results that will build a stronger foundation, dispel the myths and show these treatments in a truer light....This coupled with the move towards brining in regulation into the industry is something I whole heartedly embrace and support.
